The young girl had never in her life been fishing, but wanted to show her boyfriend she was a good sport. After about an hour or so aboard his boat, she quietly said, "How much does that little red and white thingee on the line cost?"

"The float ?" he asked. "Probably less than a dollar, I guess. Why do you ask ?"

"Well, guess I owe you a dollar then." she replied. "Mine just sank."
